Week 2: Reframing

Tip #1 dvd

The video is about 20 minutes this week.  Keep that in mind as you prepare.  Enjoy this powerful ‘Reframing’ story from someone within our church family.

Tip #2 Take notes

Remind your group members to take notes during the service and to bring them to small group.  Also, if someone does not make it to the service, pick up a cd for them or remind them to listen to the online podcast.  Don’t forget to ask for big takeaways from the weekend message during your group time.

Tip #3 Follow-Up

Remember to call everyone in your group that did not attend Week 1 and invite them to start the journey with you this week.  This is especially important for those people in your group that are NEW to the group.

Tip #4 Read the Story

Question #5 of this week’s discussion outline includes a great ‘mini-story’.  If you do not get through each question before your time runs short, be sure to read this story together.  It’s a great example of ‘Reframing’.

Tip #5 TABLE time

The ‘On Your Own’ section includes a challenge for everyone to read the story of Joseph in Genesis 37-45.  The life of Joseph is another great example of ‘Reframing’.  Encourage everyone to spend time at the ‘TABLE’ reflecting through these Scriptures in the week ahead.
